Synopsis: In 1954, two U.S. Marshals, Edward "Teddy" Daniels and his new partner, Chuck Aule, travel to the Ashecliffe Hospital in order to investigate the situation that concerned with the patient Rachel Solando who disappeared. After they arrive it was storm that prevented them from leaving this strange place. After they spend some time on this island "Teddy" meets Dr. Sheehan and Dr. John Cawley who try to make him be sure that there is no any patient called Rachel Solando. "Teddy" refuses to believe in this and continues his investigation alone. Suddenly he meets this patient hiding herself in the rocks. He believes her that she is not insane and gets to know about some experiments at the patients.
Finally there is a question: was it really true? I mean the whole situation concerned with this missing woman... or was it an imaginary plot of dreaming "Teddy"?
This film is a great example of DiCaprio's acting mastery.
I like it very much and I believe everyone is ought to watch this film in order to think it over and invent new thoughts.
